Saugatucket River Walk Park

The Saugatucket River Walk links several downtown commercial access points to surrounding community resources and schools.  It also provides a connection to the Frederick Law Olmsted designed Wakefield Park and the new South County Bike Path.  Along the water’s edge, an elevated boardwalk, seating, lighting, and native plantings combine to enhance views of the naturally beautiful river corridor.  The river walk was jointly funded by RIDOT and the Town of South Kingstown.
