BARRY YACESHYN, PE

Barry has over thirty years of experience as a civil engineer where he was responsible for developing and initiating engineering solutions for a variety of projects and design work, successfully guiding technical teams in achieving client goals, managing disciplines, budgets, regulations, and environmental hazards, as well as utilizing design software to create project drawings, renderings and schematic details. He has experience in the technical direction of projects including planning, design, cost estimation, bidding, permitting, funding, and construction administration, as well as writing technical reports documenting project status. Barry received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University.

His current projects include providing construction administration services for an Adult Use Marijuana Retail Storefront located on a State Highway in Grafton, MA and another facility in a former Taylor Rental building in Mendon, MA.

He is the Project Director for a new 45,000 sf Hyundai Dealership on Route 9 in Westborough, MA. This project includes demolition of two existing buildings, termination of utilities and building a new structure with two parking decks for vehicle storage and display above the sales and service area, including grading and new utility connections. In Westborough, he is finalizing the design and permitting of a new 12-unit apartment project, overseeing construction of a 150-space parking expansion project with associated stormwater and drainage improvements for the New England Sikh Study Circle, and overseeing construction adherence of approved subdivision plans for 24 individual building lots. He is performing oversite of stormwater and environmental management during the construction of a future church in Littleton, MA.

He is performing Construction Administration and utility design coordination during the construction of a 650 LF Common Driveway for 6 individual dwellings, in Northborough. He has designed the stormwater treatment and detention systems for a two-family dwelling in Northborough, included presentations at the Groundwater Advisory Committee, and Planning Board for Site Plan Approval in Northborough. providing construction administration for the expansion of Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine’s Small Animal Hospital building in Grafton, MA.

Outside of work, Barry enjoys skiing, biking, and coaching soccer.
